Chrome is the best browser for Conference and Event Planners

Chrome is the best browser for Conference and Event Planners

Around here at Camp Plannerwire, Google Chrome is the browser of choice. Why? The main reason is integration. We are in the Google Ecosystem and use GSuite (or GoogleDrive, GoogleDocs, or any other name it goes by) for storage and document creation. Using Chrome allows me to have a seamless experience across all of my devices. I can go from my laptop, to my phone, to my tablet, to my Chromebook and not miss a beat. Yes, I can even use Google services offline when I am on an airplane or train.

Sure, there are other browsers… Firefox is a worthy competitor and you also know about Internet Explorer which has been retired and is now Microsoft Edge, but for me, Chrome is it. I can do nifty things. I have extensions for FullContact which syncs my contacts across all of my devices, LastPass so I can log into everything, Grammarly so I am spelling correctly, and Pulse so I can text message from my browser (and a million other places). Yes, I can probably accomplish the same stuff with FireFox but FF was never my thing. I never liked using it and when you spend as many hours as we do on the internet, you really have to love your connection to the web.

For those of you that share my love of Chrome or want to give something new a try, here are some tips and tricks courtesy of the Texas Computer Education Association. You can also follow them on Twitter because awesome is hard to come by.
